Attorney L. Murray Fitzhugh
For more than three decades, L. Murray Fitzhugh has protected the legal interests of clients throughout Sarasota and Manatee County. During the past ten years, he has devoted his practice to helping clients obtain debt relief. With the focus of his practice solely on bankruptcy law, Fitzhugh has become extremely knowledgeable about bankruptcy laws and other debt relief options.
Fitzhugh received his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University before attending law school at the University of Miami. Prior to beginning his current law practice in the United States and opening our firm, Fitzhugh and his family lived overseas - spending five years in Italy and five years in Germany where he taught at Embry Riddle.
Attorney Laurie L. Blanton
A recent and valuable addition to our legal team, Laurie Blanton began her legal career in 1997 by working as a certified legal assistant. She graduated with cum laude honors while studying Criminal Justice at the University of South Florida. At the Washburn University School of Law, she graduated with honors and earned awards for best written work in both her Property and Juvenile Offender classes.
In addition to providing clients with quality legal representation, Blanton has taught courses for the Paralegal/Legal Assistant program as an adjunct professor at Manattee Community College.
